American Disabilities Act & Lead Safety Rules

Lion River Development, Inc.

Americans with Disabilities Act

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) imposes a wide range of building codes and regulations. The construction guidelines detailed in the ADA must be applied during the design, construction, and alteration stages of buildings and facilities covered by the law. The ADA also has requirements for bathrooms, doorways, stairwells, and other areas. (see ADA Accessibility Guidelines 4.9, 4.16 and 4.13). Lion River Development Inc is a licensed, insured, and bonded company that provides all aspects of construction and renovations for home owners who wish to upgrade or improve their home or business to meet these requirements. Our goal is to meet these requirements while still maintaining an attractive aesthetic appearance for your project.

Lead Safety (RRP Rule)

EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities and pre-schools built before 1978 have their firm certified by EPA (or an EPA authorized state), use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers and follow lead-safe work practices.

We are EPA RRP Certified Renovators and will offer you the best service and cost for your project.
